Facilities Supervisor
Stark Carpet is currently seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of our Calhoun warehouse. Please read more of the requirements below and submit a resume for consideration.
Responsibilities:
Lead Maintenance Team in the repair and maintaining of sewing machinery and equipment.
Perform building repairs including drywall and paint; ceiling tile and grid; carpet and tile flooring; door hardware; plumbing repairs of faucets, sinks, toilets, drains and valves.
Perform preventive maintenance to building systems and equipment as assigned.
Perform electrical repairs such as replacing lamps, ballasts, switches, receptacles, cord caps, wiring of single and three phase motors, and installation of circuits.
Perform administrative duties, which include opening and closing work order requests; follow up / quality check on all subordinate work completed.
Supervises schedules and oversees all building/grounds maintenance functions.
Track completion of PM on Crown Stock Pickers and Toyota Sit-Down Forklifts and perform minor repairs (seat replacement, battery watering etc.)
Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for warehouse equipment (Cut/roll-up tables, cutters, compressors etc.).
Requirements:
Proven experience with a variety of trades within facility maintenance.
Prior experience with Crown, Raymond, and Toyota lift trucks
Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operations.
Ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple simultaneous tasks and projects.
Work flexible schedule to include on-call, weekends and holidays.
Commercial building maintenance and repair experience
Previous experience supervising people and assigning tasks with follow up.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Applications
Valid driver's license required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
