Are you a Senior Project Manager (Agile, Scrum, Mobile) looking for a new challenging opportunity? This will be a 9-month project.
Optomi, in partnership with a leading Industrial Manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Agile, Scrum, Mobile) for their Northwest GA location.
Successful candidates responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager leads strategic, complex diverse project that spans the sales organization and has direct and high organizational impact. Operates in a matrix environment with accountability to the business unit(s) and IS support teams. Leads the process development to implement rapid project execution methodologies such as SCRUM and AGILE to drive the culture of Succeed or Fail FAST. Will work closely together with our Sales Operations team.

Must have 7
years of project management experience in a complex business environment involving multiple diverse business issues in an organization of comparable size and scope, and demonstrated experience and knowledge of the principles, techniques and methodology of project management, quality management, and change management.

years of demonstrated experience in teaching, coaching and applying of system development life cycle, dynamics of software development projects, Information Technology practices and methods including agile/scrum methodology and preferably lead projects as a scrum master.
Experience with customer engagement implementations preferably as project manager or experience in working closely with customer facing business organizations like sales and customer support
Broad-based information systems, technical management or business experience in a dynamic high-technology environment
Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), MS Project

KEY
Responsibilities:
Reports to the Sr. Applications Director, may direct subordinate staff, or project teams or hold in-direct reporting relationships.
Plans, directs and coordinates activities of Business process and I.S. technology projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters.
Ensures that project goals are accomplished and aligned with business objectives; responsible for managing the team that develops and carries out internal IS project; monitors project activities ensuring currency, quality, and integrity of the information, providing consistency in content and look and feel across the enterprise.
Confers with Relationship Managers and BU CIO, the user community (Marketing, Sales, Business Leadership) Develops detail project plans and project milestones, technical status, and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule resolves political, resource, budgeting, change, and legal issues affecting the project/project; works closely with the program/project sponsor and steering committees (where applicable) to facilitate decisions necessary for program delivery.
Develop, documents and maintains best practices, project standards, procedures, application, quality objectives and lessons learned, including metrics for assessing progress
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:
Candidate must have experience leading projects using the Agile / SCRUM methodology. Proficiency with usage of VersionOne software is a plus.
Previous experience leading projects associated with Sales Representatives using mobile technology, specifically iPads is preferred.
Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment with aggressive project delivery expectations.
PMP / SCRUM Master Certification is a plus
The project team will be located in Calhoun, GA. The Project Manager is expected to be on site for the duration of the project.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
