HMTX Industries is seeking a highly motivated Human Resources professional to join our People & Culture Team on our Calhoun, Georgia campus.
The People & Culture Coordinator role is an excellent opportunity for a customer centric, team player who wants to accelerate his/her career in Human Resources at a fast-growing private company.
As a proud member of the HMTX family, this vital role will provide P&C assistance in the following functional areas; global recruiting, employee engagement, learning and development, P&C operations, performance management, and safety to name a few.
You will be the first line of support for HMTX employees and managers for P&C-related needs, providing resources and ensuring P&C procedures are followed.
Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, you will work collaboratively within the P&C team, executive business partners, people managers and employees around the globe.
Responsibilities Day to Day Operations Answer and/or triage employee inquiries regarding benefits, compensation, payroll, policies, and procedures, etc Assist the onboarding process and conduct related trainings, as necessary.
Closely liaise with internal communications team to coordinate announcements regarding new hires, employee engagement activities, and other P&C related initiatives.
Coordinate campus and/or companywide employee engagement initiatives.
Enter and/or update staffing agency personnel data (primarily for Warehouse & Distribution teams) in the current HRIS and other internal systems, ensuring accuracy.
Maintain comprehensive employee records in compliance with company policy, procedures, local, state, and federal government agencies ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of all records.
Help manage the P&C job description database.
Participate in community activities as needed to build HMTX brand awareness.
Provide P&C support across multiple towers (US based and globally).
Receive and distribute incoming mail for the P&C team in a timely manner.
Staffing and Recruiting Coordinate onboarding activities including background and reference checks, drug screens, new hire orientation and the processing of new hire paperwork through the HRIS system.
Help to maintain effective working relationships with local staffing agencies to source qualified candidates, building pipelines for future openings (mostly for Warehouse & Distribution teams).
Consult with P&C Operations and Talent & Development Specialist as needed.
On a global scale, create and manage job postings on internal/external sites.
Support direct hire initiatives by hosting/attending job fairs or other recruiting events as needed.
Utilize effective applicant screening methods and tools to successfully source and prescreen qualified candidates, scheduling and managing the front to end interview process.
Work with the P&C team and department managers to forecast staffing needs, helping to develop effective recruiting strategies specific to each department, understanding roles and responsibilities.
Time and Attendance Issue and monitor employee timecard badges, updating Security Team of changes in employee status (new hires, terminations, and leaves of absence) to support company safety and security.
Maintain employee work schedules, creating, applying, and updating the time and attendance system as needed.
Monitor time and attendance with managers to appropriately track time.
Provide system support for time off policies and accruals.
Respond to inquiries related to time and attendance.
Review and approve timecard entries, resolving discrepancies and processing time off requests as needed prior to payroll closeout.
Knowledge and Experience 2 - 4 years' experience in Human Resources setting.
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively at all levels within the organization (factory/warehouse to executive team level).
Ability to work as part of a team as well as working with minimal supervision.
Capability of maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of employee data/records.
Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) for recruiting purposes.
General knowledge of HR policies and local, state, and federal employment laws.
Must be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Skillfully manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Working knowledge of HRIS software (Paycor) and/or the ability to quickly learn human resource information systems (HRIS) and similar applications.
Education and Certifications College degree or the pursuing of a degree in human resources or related field is preferred.
Equivalent # of years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
HR certifications or the ability to obtain once hired is desired.
Working Conditions Must be able to lift, push, pull, or maneuver up to 25lbs.
Must be able to travel overnight as needed (5%-10%).
Must be able to work in a professional office, and/or industrial/warehouse setting, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, or walking with frequency.
Must be able to work indoors/outdoors, with exposure to cold, dampness, excessive noise, heat, humidity, offensive odors, slippery surfaces, etc Must be able to work Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm EST.
Additional hours including evenings and weekends, may be required based upon business needs.
Some flexibility allowed with manager approval.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
