What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Logistics Service Coordinator to maintain compliance and service reports on carriers, customers, and distribution center (DC) operations.
This role will focus on service by monitoring and tracing national transportation network for on time delivery, as well as serve as a single point of contact for Mohawk's out-of-network shipments.
The ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple teams, both internal and external is key to being successful in this role.
What you'll do:
Schedule appointments for live load, collect and prepaid orders shipping externally to Mohawk's network Track pickups and deliveries and communicate effectively with internal and external carriers Implement processes and procedures for efficient schedule management Collaborate with planners, distribution and management team members on pending issues and steps to resolve Develop and maintain compliance reports and provide performance metrics to management, including on-time delivery reports What you have:
High School diploma or GED 3
years of experience in logistics or customer service Understanding of DOT hours of service rules and regulations (preferred) What you're good at:
Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external customers Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism Driving optimization and results through reporting and analytics Diffusing conflict using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods while maintaining professionalism and adhering to corporate standards What else? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
