Summary:
Responsible for over site of all assigned regions as it relates to implementation and maintenance of administration practices, agency philosophy, goal, and policies which assure compliance and applicable state and federal regulation; coordination and completion of assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long range objectives of the company; enhancement of the profitability of assigned agencies/offices/projects.
Restrictions:
RDO will not hold any simultaneous/concurrent employment with any other health care or hospice agency.
Essential Functions:
Motivation and retention of qualified staff Assurance of quality delivery of services Responsible to collaborate with the controller to in service and education financially sound practices in all supervised offices.
Responsible to teach the Vital Signs report and understanding the preparation / delivery of required financial reports.
This position acts as a liaison with the management staff and other departments throughout the company.
Ensures adherence to Tapestry Care model with all assigned agencies/branches and on an ongoing basis.
Participates in and helps to facilitate the QAPI planning and processes, reporting, and improvement action plans inn assigned agencies/branches.
the includes the oversite of all occurrences, complaints, surveys, negative trends, performance improvement issues, patient/family satisfaction scores and concerns.
Reviews assigned agencies/branches monthly financials relative to all aspects of the operation to assure that quality patient care is delivered in the most cost effective manner.
Reviews weekly metrics, claims, alerts, productivity and census reports and follows up on negative trends as needed for assigned agencies/branches.
Reports to the divisional leadership team on all operational, financial, risk management, compliance, staffing, business development and patient care issues.
Reviews monthly and quarterly operational and market development financials with division leadership for assigned agencies/branches with follow up for variances.
Oversees current budget and budget forecast for assigned agencies/branches.
Responsible for opening all new offices, including all necessary licenses, staffing, furnishing etc.
Responsible for training and enforcing the policies and procedures of Tapestry Hospice.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business/Business Administration with 5 years regional multi-agency/Hospice specific management.
Must be a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills who is dedicated to excellence and possesses a strong work ethic.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with demonstrated ability to organize, plan and coordinate activities within the organization to meet deadlines and objectives.
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement or streamlining processes.
Demonstrated ability to maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization including leadership.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment where speed is essential.
