What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Sourcing Assistant to administer purchasing support and handle the procurement and distribution of indirect materials for operations.
What you'll do:
Provide administrative support, including SAP system reporting, creating purchase orders and researching invoice issues Work with buyers and vendors to address issues regarding quality, payment and delivery Be responsible for accuracy of detailed item description to ensure expedient order fulfillment Support Purchasing team with PIR and Source record setups, updates, etc.
Process orders, including distribution to suppliers and all confirmations, the accuracy of which is vital to systems interfaces including the Accounts Payable system What you have:
High School Diploma or GED equivalency College degree (preferred) Minimum of 2 years job-specific work experience What you're good at:
Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external customers Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions What else?
