The Tufting Department Lead Person is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the tufting/warping department, ensuring that tufted products are manufactured according to established quality standards, production schedules, and safety protocols.
They play a pivotal role in managing a team of tufting machine operators, creelers, menders and ensuring the smooth functioning of the department.

Supervision:
Supervise and lead a team of tufting machine operators, creelers, menders.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and coaching to team members.
Ensure operators adhere to safety procedures and best practices.
Production Management:
Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of tufting machines.
Monitor production schedules and prioritize work to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
Address any operational issues or machine malfunctions promptly.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular quality checks on tufted products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and address quality issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with manager to improve product quality.
Inventory Management:
Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of materials.
Keep records of material usage and report any shortages or discrepancies.
Training and Development:
Train new employees on tufting/warping processes, safety procedures, and machine operation.
Provide ongoing training to improve the skills and knowledge of the tufting team.
Documentation:
