We provide whole-person care to our communities and champion the greater good.
We are looking for competent Treatment Coordinator who will make the dentist's office more efficient and pleasant for patients and ensure excellent customer service and be able to coordinate the functions of the dental offices at our Calhoun location in Georgia.
We are a busy, growing, fast-paced general cosmetic, implant, and orthodontic dentistry office and will need to be able to work under pressure in a friendly and fun team environment.
Bilingual preferred but not required.
Compensation is based on experience but is very competitive and a bonus system depending on collection rate/amount is also available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Treatment Coordinator include:
New patients' smooth transition into the Practice, existing patients 'ongoing dental care, communication with patients during treatment and communication with specialty offices.
Insurance and benefit verification and submitting claims.
Retrieve insurance information for the various covered plans and determine benefits prior to treatment.
Inform the patient how much their insurance covers, and what they will owe on the date of service.
Manage patient financing program.
Present and review treatment plans and fees to patients (with or for doctors) Arrange payment plans with patients.
Prepare claim forms for patients.
Schedule follow-up and return appointments.
Serve as backup receptionist as needed.
Be kind and courteous to patients, staff, doctors, and others.
Be an active participant in staff meetings.
Perform tasks as assigned by the dentist or manager.
Take initiative to identify and execute ways to continually improve individual and practice performance.
To the extent possible, help others perform their tasks when overloaded or backed up or to otherwise increase the operational and emotional performance of the practice.
In summary Prepare pre-authorizations/pre-treatment estimates.
Follow up on Insurance Plan and make sure they are in patients' Charts.
Prepare Treatment Plans, present to patients.
Keep a list of all Treatment Plans and follow up with certain patients on their Treatment Plans Keep a list of all new patients, their treatment plans, how much each treatment plan you have presented and the date of their next appointment.
Payment plans with patients and scan form to patient's file.
Recalls - especially patients who would have cancelled appointments and did not reschedule or did not show up for appointment.
Follow up on special case.
Skills Treatment Plan presentations Dental billing and collections Maintaining a database for patients' records Insurance verification, posting, etc.
