Description
Position Objective:
The Senior Web Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining interactive web applications to enhance the digital experience of Shaw's customers and support our sales force in the commercial marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop Shaw's commercial web sites (including , shawcontractgroup.cn, , , , ).
Translate business requirements into the development of digital tools (websites, apps, email communications, interactive marketing and promotional materials, etc.)
Consult with internal and external designers to build effective user experiences, including latest browser and device best practices
Translate static designs into working UI, applying Web standards and coding best practices
Create clean, organized code, leveraging current techniques, tools and libraries within a diverse set of technologies (see below)
Support web site users, including sales force and customers, via phone, email, and/or web-based or on-site training sessions.
Mentor junior web developer teammates

Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
3
years of front end web development experience in fast-paced environment
Demonstrated knowledge of web site and application usability
Web site design experience
Excellent communication skills
Customer service skills
Web application development and software programming using:
HTML/HTML5
CSS/CSS3
Javascript (JQuery, backbone,js)
Mobile web application development experience for iOS and Android platforms
LAMP experience (Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP)
Working with standardized APIs
Cross-platform compatibility
Visual Studio
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.)
