Assistant Manager


The Assistant Site Manager is looked upon as a training position and back-up for the Site Manager. The Assistant has continuing duties of the Sales Team Member but, through the Site Manager, accepts some responsibility for the over-all, round-the-clock operations of their site which may include petroleum distribution area(s), a convenience store, a car wash facility and outbuilding(s).
The Site Manager has overall responsibility for recruiting, hiring, training, coaching and managing personnel; site profitability including income and expenses; and, safety, cleanliness and security of the site, personnel and inventory but will train the Assistant in all of these functions and delegate many of these responsibilities to the Assistant Site Manager except the site profitability.

4. Maintain a safe secure environment for customers and employees
Minimum requirements:
1. high school diploma (some college preferred);
2. two (2) years in retail management;
3. valid driver's license;
4. ability to communicate effectively in English;
5. proficiency in basic math with an understanding of accounting principles;
6. reliable transportation;
7. superior interpersonal skills;
8. excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite;
9. ability to move around entire site independently;
10. ability to move, lift and rotate merchandise weighing up to 60 pounds;
11. successful completion of the standard background check including criminal and a drug test.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
